Chapter 41. Ezekiel and Luther

Ezekiel was wearing his usual uniform, but his hair… was different. He applied wax all over the strands, leaving just a gap in between, but it was just subtle. His chin was shaved, too, and there was no sign of irritation present in his face.

He was completely and utterly ready for this day, but Rachel’s beau came earlier than expected.

“She has a visitor, Mr. Godric. Do you want us to introduce you to him?” Mrs. Littlewick sensed the connection in their stares, and she had to put a halt from it. Ezekiel raised his eyebrows in confusion. Well, he didn’t assume that Luther Griffin would arrive later than what their expected date was.

“Oh, sure. Ms. Rachel Han should have the permission to.”

The headmistress of the university already knew what they were talking about. Both turning to Rachel, she smiled delightfully and pretentiously, and nodded.

“Certainly, you can meet my visitor, Mr. Godric, as you are one, too.”
