Chapter 55

Demetri’s POV

“Dominic and Lucas, the guards are downstairs to lead Dallas and Richard to the cellar for the night. If the two of you create any issues while walking over there I will know about it and add strikes as I deem necessary.”

Dominic and Lucas push lightly on their necks to get them started and walk out of the room towards the stairs.

“Patrick, you may escort Andrew to his room.”

He bows slightly at the neck without a word before lightly placing his hand on Andrew’s neck. I’m grateful that he doesn’t feel the need to manhandle him.

My initial impression of Andrew was that he was quiet but respectful and could have been a candidate depending on how his testing went. Unfortunately, the ability to think on your own, no matter your rank, is the key to being a good warrior. I have no desire for drones waiting for someone else to make the decisions.
