Chapter 59

Ten minutes?!

“Oh, alright. See you then.” He says in a tortured tone and then the call ends.

“Robert, we can’t do ten minutes,” I tell him with a straight face.

“Well, we have no choice, do we?” He replies as he begins to walk around the house, looking everywhere.

I follow him as he does this with confusion plastered on my face.

“What are you doing?” I ask him.

We don’t have time for this!

“I’m making sure that everyone is gone.” He replies and I relax a bit. He continues to walk from room to room as he checks around.

That’s a good idea. And as he is doing that, I can prepare the syringe by filling it with a lethal d**g that could knock out an elephant in five seconds. That would do the trick.

I walk away from him as he continues his much-needed search. I then climb the stairs and enter Robert’s bedroom.
