Alessa’s POV

“So, what do you think?” Bea asked Elijah and me, but her eyes were on my husband. I just ignored that and focused my eyes on the apartment we went to for the third time. It was closer to the hospital where Elijah was operated on.

My husband slightly squeezed my hand, causing me to look back at him. “What do you think?” he asked me.

I smiled sparingly at him. “I like it better than the two we went to earlier.” This apartment is more spacious and has one bedroom. It also has a small terrace overlooking the other houses outside. It is also near the temple where we can visit when we have free time. I was happy with Elijah because he asked for my opinion rather than stating his.
