Alessa’s POV

Elijah and I worked together to move our belongings to the new apartment we will be staying in here in Thailand. Unlike this morning, the atmosphere between the two of us was light. I also told him that I wanted to talk to Bea, but he said she had an appointment as I heard them talking earlier while we were in the car.

“You can talk tomorrow before we go for a walk.”

“Is she going with us?” I will ask. Elijah also told me that Bea lives alone here in Thailand and her family is not here. I felt sorry for her because it is difficult to live in a foreign country, especially without her family. “We can take her with us when she has nothing to do.”

“Really? Don’t you want to be with her?”

I sighed before answering. “I didn’t even know anything about her, so I was annoyed at first, but now that you have told me about her true personality, I want to get to know her. I also want her to be my friend.”

Elijah just nodded and then smiled
