Chapter 18. Love Is Stronger

Mary was smirking while thinking about Mika's face while Sam was helping her towards the sofa. "I see he's still in love with me."

One evening, they had planned to go out for a romantic dinner together. Sam arrived at Mika's apartment to pick her up, but when he got there, he could tell something was off. Mika seemed distant and quiet, and she barely looked at him when he tried to talk to her.
