Chapter 49. I Like You No Matter What!

Sunlight enters the room through the partially drawn curtains, filling it with a cozy warmth. Sevi stirs slowly in his bed, the hangover from yesterday night's drunken haze pounding in his mind. He moans and rubs his temples as he becomes aware that it is now morning and that he overslept.

"Ugh, what time is it?"

He squints at the bright screen of his phone as he fumbles for it on the nightstand. The time is 10:00 am. Sevi's eyes enlarge in shock.

"10:00 am? How did I sleep so late?" he asked himself and then remembered that he had been drunk last night. He also could feel the pain in his head.

His body is heavy and lethargic as he swings his legs over the edge of the bed. Sevi forces himself to stand and stumbles his way to the restroom.

In an effort to cure the last of his hangover, Sevi pours cold water on his face. With bloodshot eyes and messy hair, he examines himself in the mirror. His visage is engraved with the mirror of his suffering.
