Conrad's POV

I was busy all morning with emails, messages, and papers I had to review. My parents texted me to have dinner with them. I wanted to tell them no, but I know they'll be upset if I decline. Since I started seeing Kamila, I haven't been visiting them. I need to tell them many things. I don't know how my father will react to the fact that I'm now a professor. I'm not sure if he'll like it or think it's foolish. I'm afraid of his reaction. I need his approval for most things I do. The need to please my father has always been there.
