Chapter 19
Conrad's POV
Being with Gwen is like being with a spoiled and tantrum-prone child. She refuses all the options I offer her, doesn't want to do anything I suggest, and is constantly nagging about things. I like her, and she's beautiful, but spending a whole day with her, I don't think I could do it. I've met many people throughout my life. Older gentlemen have given me advice on how to behave or what to do with my life. Since I always had a book in my hands, they seemed to feel responsible for telling me that not everything was in books, that I should go out and live life to obtain the most important thing of all: "knowledge."
My father was invited to many funerals. As strange as it may sound, he always attended them. I found it odd that he would go to every funeral he was invited to. He was a busy man with many things to do and millions of emails to attend to.
Despite everything, he wasn't a bad boss. He taught me that you shouldn't treat your employees as a nuisa
