“Brain, please!” I begged, hoping he would listen to me and let David go.
Haiti had picked up David by the neck—his jaw over his throat. One small squeeze, and Haiti would kill David.
David’s wolf was trying with all his might to claw Haiti to get himself out of Haiti’s hold.
“Let the boy go, please! I beg of you. He is only a child. He has nothing to do with this.”
Haiti’s ears twitched, yet he refused to drop David. Brian must have surrendered all control to Haiti. I wonder why he would do such a thing!
