Chapter 139. There Is No Color in Between

Catherine’s POV

“Hi,” I said, pushing the wheelchair into our quarters. The boys were all sitting in the sitting room, looking as if I had just interrupted a deep and important discussion.

Sam was the first to jump to his feet, coming closer to meet me.

“And how was your day?” He asked, bending down and kissing me on the cheek.

“It was good; thank you,” I said.

Sam grabbed the wheelchair handles and steered me toward the sitting room, toward his brothers.

Colt nodded his head and turned his attention toward me. Did he just have a private conversation with Grey?

Were they hiding something from me again?

“David came to see me,” I said when Grey turned his attention toward me. “He has been released this morning.”

“We heard,” Colt said, getting to his feet. “The doctor called and informed me.”

Colt bent down and kissed my forehead, then searched my gaze and smiled.
