Chapter 73. Family Comes First!

Catherine’s POV

“What do you mean she is missing?” I yelled over the phone at Jimmy.

If I ever thought that I was going back to bed and snuggling up with my mates, I surely have changed my mind now.

“Exactly what I am telling you,” Jimmy said, his voice quivering out of worry. “When mom went to check on her, she was gone!”

Jimmy sighed heartbrokenly.

Ellie, our little sister, has been taken from her crib. There was no sign of her, and the pack had been looking for her since last night.

Usually, a nanny is with her throughout the night, but the nanny fell sick and called my mother. In the few minutes between when the nanny left and my mother came to the nursery, Ellie went missing.

There was no trace of forced entry or even a scent they could follow.

I was sure this was an inside job. Someone in the pack must have done it. But who? Who would want to take a 2-year-old?
