Chapter 74. Let Us Help

Colt’s POV

The drive back to Silver Moonstone Pack was fairly fast, yet quiet.

Kate wasn’t saying a word, and even if we spoke to her, she didn’t pay any attention to us. She had become a prisoner in her mind.

Ray whimpered, worried for our mate’s sake. He didn’t like Kate being sad and depressed. He was afraid that it would break down everything we had worked so hard for over the last few days.

“What do you think happened?” Sam asked over our shared link.

“Not sure,” I replied. “All I know is that it has something to do with her family.”

“Will we try and help?” Grey asked, turning to look at me.

I nodded.

We were all worried, and it was only right to assist our mate in finding whoever had gone missing.

As soon as we entered the pack, Kate lifted her gaze, and we could feel the tension building up again.
