Colt’s POV
I found Kate and Grey in the garden, playing with Ellie—all traces of last night’s worries washed away.
Ellie threw her head back, giggling out of joy. The sound was so beautiful that it put a smile on my face.
I could just imagine it: playing with my pups outside under the old oak tree.
Oh Goddess, I hope to have many beautiful, happy pups with Kate one day.
“Kate looks a bit more relaxed this morning,” Sam said, startling me as he walked closer.
He had a white towel hanging over his shoulder and was dressed in gym wear.
“Did you have a workout or something?” Grey asked, laughing, heading our way.
He must have noticed that I was up and had come outside for my morning coffee.
Kate disappeared into the packhouse with Ellie on her lap, cooing to her little sister that it was time to have her diaper changed.
“Sort of,” Sam said, laughing. “Kate suggested I join the pack training this morning.”
