Catherine’s POV

“Ten lashes with the whip,” Grey announced.

“Wait what?” I gasped, looking at him in disbelief. “For what reason?”

“She humiliated you in front of the pack!” Sam said, staring down at the girl in anger.

“We will not let our future Luna be harmed or humiliated like she just did,” Colt said, and the girl whimpered in fear.

This wasn’t right. She didn’t do it on purpose.

My gaze turned toward where Amy and her click stood. Amy had a huge smile plastered on her face, lifting a taunting eyebrow at me.

Was she testing me?

Did she trip this girl to spill the uneaten food on me?

“Take her outside to the square!” Grey ordered, and two huge warriors stepped forward, ready to obey his order.

“And tie her up!” Sam added. “Don’t let her escape!”

Colt nodded, his aura still powerful and blindingly strong.

“Colt, wait!” I yelled, seeing the warriors grab and lift the girl from the floor. “Let her go!”
