“Can I always be by your side, be the person you need when you need protection, and be someone you always look to when you want to tell me anything? If you let me, I’m ready to do it. I’m willing to be someone who is always there for you.” Harry looked deeply into her brownish eyes.

Alice was silent for a moment on the seat she was sitting on. Both eyes looked teary, and she could not hold back the feelings that were growing in her chest and how she was feeling exploding in there. Dozens of beautiful butterflies seemed to be flying around in her stomach.

Alice couldn’t help but feel how much she loved him too. The phrase Harry said was very beautiful—a series of words arranged into a beautiful sentence for the ear. Alice had never heard such a sentence before, so she finally chose to nod her head with a smile.

“I let you into my life, Mr. Harry, to be someone I always look to when I need protection,” Alice said later in a slightly trembling voice.
