Chapter 110. Harry’s Smile

They were silent for a moment, absorbing their conversation. The atmosphere in the room was warm and intimate, filled with the feelings of budding but already deep love.

“Harry,” Alice whispered, “I’m scared. What if, one day, we split up? What about our work?”

Harry looked deeply at Alice, his hand gently caressing her cheek. “Alice, I can’t guarantee the future. But I can promise you that no matter what happens, I will always respect you, both as a lover and as a coworker. We will face everything maturely. You don’t have to think about things like that too much; think positively and always believe that everything will be fine. After all, we’re still new to this relationship. You and I need to be open with each other and express what’s unpleasant to each other, not just keep it to ourselves. Remember, communication is important.”

Tears of emotion welled up in Alice’s eyes. “You always know what to say, Harry. That’s one of the reasons I fell in love with you.”
