Chapter 52. Suspecting Angeline

“I don’t know, Angeline, maybe I need some time to think. I’m really messed up.” Daniel spoke in a weak voice.

Angeline looked at Daniel with her arms folded in front of her chest. The woman was observing her confused-looking lover.

“We were just talking about the problems at my father’s company, and now I’m getting bad news again. It seems that I can’t underestimate this matter; I must take action immediately. What do you think, Angeline?” Daniel asked the woman, hoping that Angeline could express her opinion and provide some solutions for him.

Angeline muttered briefly, “Yes, just do what you think is best; I can only support you. Remember that every problem has a way out; you can do it.” The woman tried to encourage her boyfriend, even though she wasn’t really supporting him. Angeline was only doing that so that she wouldn’t lose her source of income.
