Chapter 51. Bad News for Angeline

“Yes, let’s sit there,” Angeline said later.

After Angeline and Daniel sat down, they ordered food from a waiter. While waiting for their order to come, the two of them seemed to be talking. Until finally, Daniel’s face seemed to change; the man combed his hair and bowed his head.

“Honey, maybe I haven’t had much time for you lately. My father’s company is having some problems; I’m dizzy thinking about it. Moreover, dad also blames me a lot, which frustrates me even more. He said that I was incompetent in managing the company; he said I spent more time outside than in the office. That’s why I was asked to focus on the company rather than other matters.” Daniel rubbed his face in frustration, the look on his face showing how complicated the problem he was currently facing was.

Angeline looked at Daniel with a flat face, the look in her eyes not even showing the slightest compassion. The woman seemed to be thinking hard until she finally gave a smile.
