Chapter 58. Daniel Fainted

Daniel hurriedly took the cell phone out of his shirt pocket. He saw who the caller was, and his eyes narrowed slightly to read the name on the screen.

“Daddy?” Daniel said it in a soft voice.

“You should answer it,” Mike advised.

Daniel lazily answered the phone.

“Hello, Dad—”

“Where are you?” Daniel’s father’s voice asked in a stern tone.

Daniel swallowed. “I was drinking.”

“You were drinking? Instead of being in the office and handling the company, you went out drinking!” Daniel’s father spoke angrily, leaving Daniel frozen in his seat.

“Damn you! Take care of your work, you idiot! You should be looking for ways to keep the company safe! You’re incompetent to manage the company! You can’t even solve all the problems! You idiot!”
