Chapter 59. Upset but Pity

On the other side, Angeline was seen grumbling in annoyance while staring at the screen of her dimmed cellphone. She, who was sitting and relaxing in her house, suddenly felt very upset because someone called her and told her about Daniel’s condition.

“Gosh, why did he just turn off the phone like that? How rude! Besides, I don’t have any relationship with Daniel anymore; why should I pick him up and bring him home?” Angeline shouted in annoyance.

“This pisses me off; why is he so troublesome?” Angeline grumbled as she walked towards her dressing table. She sat there and looked at her reflection in the mirror.

With deft hands, Angeline rushed to apply makeup. However, a few seconds later, she stopped moving her hands; the woman was rooted to her seat, as if she had just realized.

“Wait, am I really going to come there and pick him up? Oh, my gosh! What the hell am I doing?” Angeline shouted in frustration.

“Besides, why is he drinking himself into a stu
