Chapter 61. Hate and Love
Daniel held his head, which was throbbing violently; he felt his vision was spinning. The man then held his stomach, which seemed to be stirring; he was about to vomit; it felt very nauseous; his throat was very bitter. However, the man was trying hard to hold it in; he didn’t want to vomit carelessly, especially since he also didn’t know where he was.
Daniel slowly sat up, still holding his head and stomach. The man then squinted to see what was in front of him. His gaze fell on a woman driving a car; only then did he realize that he was currently in a car. The smell and shape of this car were familiar to him; he recognized it.
“Angeline?” Daniel said the woman’s name with narrowed eyes; he hadn’t fully realized it yet.
Angeline turned her head briefly and asked, “Are you awake? Thank goodness, at least you won’t be delirious anymore; it bothers me a lot.”
Daniel frowned. He was confused. “Why am I here? Why am I in your car? Where are we going? Oh, wait!” T
