"I can tell this is about your ex again," I said with a knowing tone.
"No, Bea," he interjected, cutting me off. "And she is not my ex, okay?"
I sighed, clicking my tongue in frustration. Why did he always bring her up? Why was she still on his mind whenever he made decisions?
"Well, fine then! If you don't want to go, we can just stay here and wait for you to waste away," I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest.
