Bea's POV
As I gradually opened my eyes, I was momentarily blinded by the intense light that streamed through my window. The sun's rays painted the room a golden hue, signaling the beginning of a new day. Today was the day that marked the end of what I considered my "punishment."
Yawning, I stretched my arms and legs, the sound of bones cracking echoing through the room. "Good morning," I greeted myself with a half-hearted smile and swung my legs over the side of the bed, ready to start my day.
Following my morning routine, I made my way towards the boys' room, pressing the doorbell to announce my presence. It was Paul who answered the door, his face still drowsy from sleep. "Good morning, JP," he mumbled, rubbing his eyes in an attempt to wake up.
