Chapter 44

It has been nearly two weeks since our last conversation, and I find it perplexing how Ian's behavior has taken an unexpected turn. We used to frequently encounter each other on campus, often crossing paths every day. We even share some of our classes, although not always at the same time. However, lately, he appears to be deliberately ignoring my presence.

It is unsettling because he used to be friendly, always greeting me with a smile or, at the very least, acknowledging my presence. But now, it is as if I am invisible to him. I can't grasp the reason behind this sudden change in his behavior.

The only conclusion I can draw is that he is unmistakably avoiding me. It is evident, even without explicitly stating it.
