Ian's POV

By a remarkable twist of fate, I found myself unexpectedly crossing paths with Paul as I took my steps down the hallway. To my surprise, he was accompanied by Josh and Bea, I did not even notice them until that very moment.

The situation became even more mentally confusing for me due to the frequent encounters with her. Being constantly in her presence made it increasingly challenging for me to grasp the situation. Thus, I made the difficult decision to distance myself from her, believing that by doing so, I could spare her from any potential pain caused by my presence. However, it seems that the tables have turned, as I find myself now enduring immense pain as a consequence of my own choice.

I have made various attempts to avoid her, to divert my attention away from her, or, at the very least, to forget about her altogether. Unfortunately, none of my efforts have resulted in any positive outcomes.
