Chapter 2

After spending the night with her boss, Heart decided she did not want to return to the villa. The assistant instructed her to wait, and informed her that if they were unsuccessful once more, she would have to wait for another arrangement. Therefore, Heart sat still and went about her day as usual, continuing her routine both at home and at school.

Walking around the school grounds as she does every day, Heart enjoys the brisk air brought by the lake that is located on the campus's western edge. The students appeared to be having a good time and were very animated as they ran around it.

Heart made the decision to sit down in the distance and smiled in a mournful manner. As she looked around at the other students in her class, she couldn't help but feel envious.

"Oh, how I wish that I could turn back the hands of time in my life so that everything would be alright... I mutter to myself in a bitter tone, "Even though it's hard, it's okay because I can still chase my dream."

"Heart love, William!" A voice was heard to be heard above everything else.

When Heart looks at Liam De Silva, she is unable to halt the pain that she is experiencing because he is the source of the voice. The kind of guy every girl fantasizes about having. In addition to being tall and handsome, he is phenomenal in both the classroom and on the athletic field.

"At last, I was able to locate you! Why are you trying to keep me a secret?!" As soon as Liam has settled himself on the grass, he immediately poses the question.

The heart began to panic immediately. "No," is the response that she gives only rarely.

"I've heard that something unfortunate occurred with your family. Do you require assistance? Liam asked. As he holds Heart's little hand, it is clear that he is concerned about her. As a consequence of this, the attention of everyone is currently concentrated on them.

Heart awkwardly responds, "No, thanks, but I can handle my affairs," while looking at the student.

"Heart, why are you acting so strangely? Why do I get the impression that you're trying to avoid me?

Heart retorted, "Liam, don't do this," and then she distanced herself from him.

"Could it be that the rumor about an expensive car following you is actually true?" The saltiness crept into Liam's voice. Even his handsome face darkened.

The heart was taken aback. When Liam was talking about this, he was referring to the time when her boss sent the flashy car to pick her up. She was taken aback by how quickly it spread across campus.

"What exactly do you want me to ask?" Heart inquired with a smirk on her face.

"When I first heard the rumors, I didn't believe them. I don't care! However, the issue lies in the manner in which you view me. That is the very reason I have my reservations!" Liam remarks.

A long, slow breath is taken by the heart. "Liam, the test will begin in a short while. I have to do some reviewing!" After saying that, she got up and started walking away.

"Heart, don't run away from me!" the voice pleaded. Liam had pursued her and was now holding her hand. "Is it true what they're saying about you?"

Every time Liam spoke, it was as if a needle were inserted into her chest. Heart yearned to be in his company, but she was unable to do so because being similar to her is considered unclean. She is not the right person to be in close proximity to Liam.

"Heart, I beg you, please tell me that this isn't true!" The hold that Liam had on her arms became increasingly firm. "Do you not see any value in me? The years we've spent together... Do you not see any value in it?"

Heart lifts her chin and gazes at the flawless features of Liam's face, the features of which have been a source of inspiration for her ever since they were children. For the longest period of time, Liam serves as Heart's ray of sunshine.

"Heart... reassure me that it is not the case, and I will believe you...." Liam pleaded his case.

Before he could speak, Heart stared at him for a full minute before finally responding. "Liam, I'm sorry but forget me ..." The very sound of that word causes Heart's entire world to collapse. She shoved Liam and then ran away quickly. She was petrified that Liam would see her tears and realize that she was unable to stop them from falling.

“Heart!” Liam lets out a harrowing scream while staring at her behind her.

On the other hand, Heart did not turn around to look back. She ran by the other students as they were making their way to the restroom in a hurried and careless manner.

She went straight into a room where she could be alone and sobbed her eyes out. Heart sacrificed almost everything, including her life's dream and the man she had loved since they were children, so that she could save her mother. Heart William was unaware of the length of time that she remained in that place.

She muttered to herself, "Heart, there is no turning back," before taking a deep breath and putting the pregnancy kit in her purse. "There is no turning back," she said to her heart. They presented it to her and instructed her on how to make use of it in the appropriate manner.

She waited after completing the necessary steps in the procedure. Then everything came crashing down for her when she saw the two lines in the test kit.

She murmured the words while rubbing her pregnant belly and thinking to herself, "I'm going to have a baby..."

After nine months, we found ourselves in New York. Heart was in the process of giving birth.

"Heart was staring at me... You are capable of accomplishing this! Have faith in me and do as I say in all that I say."

"I beg you, Doctor Linda, to assist me. It's so painful! I'm going to die!" Due to the excruciating pain, the heart-shaped, beautiful face could not be painted. She was obviously in a lot of pain, as evidenced by the copious amounts of sweat she was producing and the fact that she was carrying twins.

"Heart, I want you to know that everything is going to be okay. Remember everything I've told you," Dr. Linda said as she wiped away her sweat and commanded.

Heart took a few slow, deep breaths as she waited for a signal from Dr. Linda.

"For the time being, please wait for the construction. Dr. Linda advised the patients, "You need to give your all with one push so that you don't get tired right away."

"Doctor, it's on its way!" The force was so strong that it made the heart scream.

The delivery room became filled with the sound of a small cry.As she hands the newborn over to Heart, Dr. Linda congratulates her and says, "Your baby boy appears to be in good health."

"My angel ... Heart murmured to the baby as she felt the baby's warmth in her chest, "I'm so happy you're healthy... remember that mama loves you," as she felt the baby's warmth. Nine months have passed since... The past few months have not been simple for her, but she has maintained her resolve. Because of this, the realization that she would be cut off and would not be able to see her children again broke her heart.

The nurses entered the room in a matter of seconds and picked up the child without delay.

"Please tell them to be good to him," Heart pleaded. "Try not to cry."

"Ms. William, let me remind you. You are about to put the child out of your mind forever. You are no longer connected to the child in any way, shape, or form. The remaining balance has been transferred to your account." The statement was made by one of the nurses before she walked away carrying the infant.

"My baby…" The moment you give birth, the anguish of having to give up your child is no longer present... However, Heart is unable to do anything other than grab the sheet and pull blood. She was required to suffer through this as the price for the money that she wanted.

Then, she experiences another ache in the lower region of her stomach. She uttered those words, "Ah... Dr. Linda... it starts again," while she was gasping for air.

"You are about to give birth to your second child. Dr. Linda gently smiled as she reminded her patient to "take a deep breath and wait for the construction." "Now, you did remarkably as you did with the first child... take a deep breath and wait for the construction,"

Heart expressed her gratitude by saying, "Thank you, Dr. Linda." As a result of her assistance, Heart will be able to keep one of her twins.
