Character: Narrator
Narrator’s POV
How her footprints, fingerprints, and facial ID were captured and put in the evidence left her shocked.
She thought she was in a movie. But the sound of the cell doors closing behind her gave her a reality check. She was locked up for something she didn’t know even happened.
She didn’t even know who the so-called person that was killed was. She didn’t see a body. Come to think of it, she didn’t see anything that day. The Sunday pulled her in. That was it.
The next thing she knew, she was being pushed into a police van, and she was standing in court to plead her case on murder.
She sighed as she changed positions.
This was just a bad dream. A really horrible and unbelievably realistic bad dream. Any moment from now, she would wake up.
Yes, a bad dream. Maybe if she closed her eyes, she would wake up and find herself asleep in front of her laptop, an assignment forgotten due to her sleep.
