Chapter 22. Something More Fun
BELLADONNA
I gave Kade a hard look.
I shouldn't think twice before I used a knife on him? A knife?!
“You’re kidding,” I said.
But he wasn't. He grabbed my hand that held the knife, bringing it close to his throat—too close. I tried to pull my hand away, but for someone who was shaking and burning, he sure has a strong grip.
“Belladonna,” he called, his eyes fixed on mine. His voice shook a bit, but his words still came out firm, and I could see what that was taking out of his body, but he didn't stop. “Use it.” He pressed the knife deeper in his throat, and a bead of blood formed where it pierced his skin.
My eyes grew to the size of a saucer, and I tried to pull my hand away, but the more I struggled, the more the blade moved deeper, and more blood appeared. The bastardo didn't even blink.
“Let go!” I screamed, on the brink of having another panic attack.
“Give me… your word,” he said, his gaze firm
