Chapter 32. Nothing but This Truth

Ansel waited for this ‘truth’. But Alain whispered. “Just…don’t freak out. You and I must be the only ones who should know about this.”

Well, secrets since it’s about Sasha’s real parents, her lineage, who Alain made an Unbreakable Oath with and what are the conditions to fulfill the Oath.

Basically, Alain will be parading towards him wearing his weakness, exposing himself bare to him. Vulnerable to his flames.

Ansel doesn’t know why he’s doing this but… “This is just politics, man. I guess I’ve witnessed far more gruesome things that will make me freak out and shriek.”

Alain chuckled, and somehow, this made Ansel forget that this Alpha was his rival. He felt like a brother, a genuine friend.
