Chapter 27. The Shades of Cruelty
She no longer knows if she is dreaming or is this some distant memory so vivid that Sasha thought she travelled across time and space.
She looked at her hands, no hint of blood. She glanced at her arms and legs, no hint of scars. She stared at her face’s reflection in the mirror, no hint of fresh wounds.
But Sasha saw her own body across the room, shaking. Unable to get a grip of its own.
She can feel the throbbing of her heart across the room. Feel the beads of sweat that threatened to blurry her vision. Hearing the little voice inside her head to get the shard of the vase she slid inside her pocket and plunged it deep in Alpha Cal’s dark heart.
She remained stiff and frozen to the bed where Cal had thrown her body.
