Observing the surroundings, Sophie shuddered at the thought of what was happening there with the enemies.

“She didn't survive long,” Beta remarked as he passed by Sophie. “Harry fell for my sister, and he's not known for being kind. It didn't take long for the news to arrive that Helena didn't survive his cruelties.”

“I'm so sorry, Oliver!” Tears welled up in Sophie's eyes.

“Me too. That's why, hybrid, in response to your question, yes, I am loyal to our Lycan King. He doesn't tolerate injustices, doesn't allow others to come and take what is rightfully ours, and would never trade his wolves away!” The gleam of pride in Oliver's eyes confirmed his admiration for Harvey.

“This place is eerie,” I commented as I approached the board covered in information about wolves and witches. My attention was drawn to a single highlighted word: “legend.”

” Legend of the Twins?” I looked curiously at the Beta, who approa
