“Denver, you know it was necessary!” Elara shouted, facing the wizard's fury. “It was the hybrid's destiny to join us; we couldn't defy the ancestors!”
“TO HELL WITH THE ANCESTORS!” He yelled, his eyes blazing with anger. “You handed your own daughter to them, my future bride!”
I felt a wave of indignation and fury emanating from the wizard.

I clenched my fists, keeping my gaze steady on the wizard. Elara, worried, yelled:
