Akia POV

The sun has been up, pushing into the room. I woke up before the sun, but then again, I barely slept. There’s too much going on right now, and it’s all hard to put into context.

One thing that got me last night was that they are keeping things from me. I don’t like being in the dark when the main point of the topic is me. I’ve been through too much to be kept out of conversations that pertain to me.

My phone buzzes on the nightstand. It’s the first time that the outside world has tried to contact me in hours. I half expected either Atlas or Apollo to break down the door last night.
