Apollo POV

I lift the bar once more, pushing myself to finish this set. My muscles are screaming at me, begging me to be finished. I’m probably pushing myself too hard, but it doesn’t matter. I’ve been busy training hard, trying to get my body right.

Werewolves are strong creatures, naturally fit. That doesn’t mean we don’t exercise and stay active. I’ve seen a few not-so-fit wolves, believe it or not. They really stick out like a sore thumb.

I bring the bar down, ignoring the tremor in my arms. I place the bar on the rack and let my arms fall to the sides. “Good set, though, maybe you want to drop your weight about 10 pounds.” I look up, seeing his eyes on mine and shake my head.
