“Did Ashton say you had something to tell me?” Dylan asked me the moment I stepped out of my dorm.
“How about we… go inside first, so we can sit on the couch and talk properly?” I suggested with a sarcastic smile, raising a brow at both Dylan and Ashton. I held Dylan’s gaze for a second longer since what I had to say was really meant for him. “This conversation’s going to take a while, I’m sure… so we better get comfortable. Besides…” I lowered my voice a little, giving them a knowing look. “It’s a sensitive topic, and we can’t risk anyone overhearing us.”
“I agree,” Ashton nodded. Dylan, clearly left with no choice, sighed and followed us inside. Once Ashton trailed behind me into the dorm, Dylan dragged his feet along reluctantly.
I could see the irritation etched on Dylan’s face—directed at Ashton, of course. But it seemed like he was also dragging me into his bad mood just because of his secret boyfriend. Oh no, Dylan… don’t involve me in this
