When I woke up, a blinding white light greeted me, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something heavy was pressing on my eyelids, making it hard to open them fully. I felt incredibly sleepy… but I wanted so badly to open my eyes, to sit up and find out what had happened… to know what day it was.
