The hospital process went by quickly. Yesterday, Mom and Dad took care of the payments before the hospital cashier closed, so now… I had just arrived back at my dorm.

They had just left, and even though I wanted to rush out and find Ashton and Dylan to finally talk to them (they hadn’t been able to visit last night, so I had no idea what Ashton and Von might have discussed), I found myself rooted to my seat.
