“What are we going to do about this?” I let out another deep sigh, scratching my head with frustration. “How do we even catch a stalker in hiding? Our plan’s been wrecked, and I don’t trust the police to actually catch this stalker. I’m sure this psycho is smarter than any of them…” I sighed again. If someone were keeping score, I’d probably be in the Guinness World Records by now as the person who sighed the most in a single day.

“Have you spoken to Von yet?” I asked Ashton, glancing at him.

Ashton shook his head right away. “Not yet. But I was planning on talking to him today. I’m worried… what if he’s the one the police catch and not your real stalker…” He sighed as well, his worry mirroring mine.

“That’s… that’s exactly what I’m worried about, too…” I sighed once more, massaging my temples in frustration. “What will we do if Von gets caught by the police and has no choice but to admit we hired him?”
