Chapter 374. Inside a Drawer

I woke up feeling nothing but pain—an overwhelming ache that radiated through my back, shoulders, and neck. On top of that, my throat was both sore and itchy, adding to the discomfort that seemed to have taken over my entire body.
I instinctively tried to stretch, wanting to ease the tension, but as soon as I opened my eyes, I realized that wasn’t going to happen. How could I, when I was crammed into such a ridiculously small space?
My legs were bent awkwardly, and I could barely move. I needed to stretch them out to sit even somewhat properly, but as soon as I shifted, I felt the entire space shift with me, almost like the door to wherever I was might open. That was when it all clicked.
