“Spill the tea already… I’m itching to know what it is!” Paige clicked her tongue in impatience and shook her head dramatically.
“True… I’ve been holding my breath here for ages… tea, for me, is like oxygen!” I pretended to gasp for air like I was having an asthma attack, clutching my chest theatrically. They burst into laughter at my over-the-top antics.
I had just arrived home from work, still in my uniform. Seeing it was already 9 PM, I didn’t even bother to change. Instead, I immediately hopped onto our group chat call, settling into the chair at my desk, ready and eager for whatever juicy story Lee was about to share.
“But before I say anything… I need to ask Asher first. Because what I’m about to share involves Tate.”
That made me pause. My hand instinctively went to my chest, my eyebrows arching in curiosity.
