“Ash… you know, I was so worried about you these past few days…” Sarah sighed heavily as she spoke, downing the remaining contents of the soju bottle in her hand. “If I didn’t trust Auntie so much, and if I hadn’t been swamped with work, I would’ve gone straight to you. I would’ve hugged you tightly… and maybe… maybe cried along with you.”
“Hey, Sarah,” Paige interjected, raising an eyebrow at her. “Do you think we don’t notice? We know you’ve got something going on too. Don’t you think it’s time you talk to us? What are friends for?”
