“What the hell, Sarah?!” I exclaimed, dragging my hands down my face in exasperation the moment I heard what Sarah had just told me.
We had just woken up, and here we were—me, Sarah, and Paige—sitting in Asher’s bedroom. Sarah had just finished recounting what happened between her and Cholo, and I couldn’t wrap my head around it.
Last night, Asher had mentioned that Sarah had said something to him and Paige that left them both visibly stressed. It was why the two had quickly gotten drunk and passed out. I had begged Asher multiple times to spill the tea, but he insisted it wasn’t his story to tell. “Ask Sarah when she wakes up,” he had said. “She’ll probably tell you herself.”
And so, the moment I woke up, I wasted no time. I cornered Sarah, pulled her to sit down, and demanded to know what the fuss was about. She spilled everything, and now here I was, utterly pissed and frustrated at the absurdity of it all.
