“Tate’s voice is so beautiful…” Lee whispered to me. Her whisper was loud enough for me to hear despite the noise from the audience’s cheers and applause as Tate sang. Some were even singing along with him.

Currently, Tate was covering a song from one of the famous Korean dramas, and the title of the song was ‘Star.’ It was his second song, and he gave a short speech about the song before he started singing, so I also found out the title of the song.

“If my tears fall down in my universe

It turns into a new world…

It’s time to find my way back home…”

His voice perfectly fit the lyrics and the melody of the song. It was so soothing, the kind of voice that felt like it was embracing me, the type that would lull me to sleep on nights when I struggled to rest.

While he sang, my eyes were fixed on him. I followed his every move on the stage. He walked around different corners of the stage while playing the guitar
