Chapter 42. My Dream in This Lifetime

In the past two nights, I dreamed about the jobs I had in my first and second lives.

The other night, I dreamed that I was back in my first life, as Aiden, working as the manager at my Uncle Finn’s bookstore on my mother’s side, “The Book Talks.”

“Denden, where’s the book ‘The Great War’? I can’t seem to find it. I’ve been looking for it for a while, and I really can’t find it. Are we out of stock?” Uncle Finn asked me. He was carrying a box full of books that looked like they needed to be placed on the shelf at the back, as that was the only vacant spot.

I had almost memorized where all the books were in the bookstore, so I could answer any question Uncle Finn had.

I glanced briefly at the shelves and took a few steps before immediately spotting the book Uncle Finn was looking for. We had only one copy of ‘The Great War’ left.

“I’ll call the supplier of ‘The Great War’ to restock…” I told Uncle Finn as I handed him the book.
