Chapter 410. Just Like Asher

I fell asleep right away that night because of all the crying I did. I woke up early, too, since I had gone to bed earlier than usual. I had not even eaten dinner—I felt completely drained from everything I was feeling.
When I woke up at 6 AM, I found myself heading straight to the bathroom for a shower. I wanted to go back to Parkertown… I wanted to cry to Asher, Paige, and Sarah. I was not sure if I could convince them to skip work and drink with me later, but knowing them, they would be easy to persuade.
They would understand how sad I was and know how much I needed comfort. Even if they could not skip work—especially Asher, since he had already missed a few days because of his sore eyes—I was sure they would still show up later, even if it meant nursing themselves because of a hangover at work.
By 7:30 AM, I was already at the bus terminal, waiting for the bus to fill up so we could leave for Parkertown. I expected it to take a while—
