Chapter 58

Matheus was atop his horse, riding aimlessly. He just wanted to clear his mind of everything that had been happening in the past few days. Alanna was in the midst of treatment, and that day, they were finally moving to their new home. Charlotte had been a true guardian angel. It was 7:00 AM, and he knew the day was going to be long.

Returning to the property, the move was chaos. Several men were carrying and assembling furniture and decorative objects. Sofia was organizing everything according to Charlotte’s plan, who was on bed rest due to the baby. It was surprising how much their daughter had matured in such a short time.

By nightfall, most of the furniture was assembled, and the cleaning crew was finishing up the last touches. Everything was perfect. Not long after, Alanna arrived with her suitcases and the twins.

“Wow, it looks beautiful.”

“I told you I could handle it,” Sofia said with a smile. “I inherited Aunt Charlotte’s organizational skills.”
