Chapter 59
The two omegas headed towards the city. A short while later, Alanna was in the building where Matheus had his office. The place was simple.
Matheus was working on cases involving omegas who had experienced labor law injustices or abuse.
Alanna walked past the receptionist and greeted Matheus’s secretary with a touch of her fingers.
Upon opening the door, Matheus was sitting at his desk engrossed in paperwork. Alanna entered, locked the door, and walked over to the side of the desk, unnoticed.
“What’s so important that you didn’t notice my scent?”
“I’ve smelled your scent since the moment you entered the building,” Matheus lifted his head and pulled Alanna onto his lap. “What are you doing here? You’re supposed to rest. It’s not good for you to exert yourself.”
“I came to see you. I’m fine.”
“Okay,” Matheus kissed her cheek passionately.
Alanna responded with a kiss that lasted for a few minutes before Matheus broke it off.
