Matheus sat in his office, buried in work, when his phone buzzed with an incoming message. Alanna, seated nearby, noticed the sudden change in his expression as he opened the message. His face paled, and his eyes widened in shock.

“Matheus, what’s wrong?” Alanna asked, concerned.

Matheus turned the phone to show her the photos of Zack and Mary, tied up and looking terrified in a small, dimly lit room. “It’s Anthony. He’s kidnapped them. He wants us to come to a seaside house in three hours.”
