Arriving at the hospital, Rafaela seemed fine. Matheus, as always, took the baby in his arms first.

“I love baby smells,” Matheus said, taking selfies with the baby in his arms.

Alanna laughed and said, “You did a good job, Rafaela. I brought you a present.” Alanna lifted a glass of mocha coffee and handed it to her daughter-in-law.

“Alanna, I never told you this, but I love you,” Rafaela said, laughing.
